As part of Jane’s Walk Weekend—a series of free guided tours held each year in memory of urban activist Jane Jacobs—Bronx native Sam Goodman, an urban planner in the Office of the Bronx Borough President, will lead a tour of the Grand Concourse. While visiting key sites along this major thoroughfare, Goodman will provide a brief history of the Grand Concourse and explain the development of its diverse neighborhoods and communities.
