Over 100 guests enjoyed a private party at the Sagamore Hotel (Miami Beach's "art hotel") hosted by Bronx Museum Trustee Laura Blanco and Bob Shainheit to celebrate the Museum's inclusion in the Untitled Fair during Art Basel week in Miami. See photos from the December 3rd party above.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts is proud to present the exhibition Constructions, featuring an installation by André Komatsu and photographs by Mauro Restiffe. Constructions will be on view at Untitled, the international contemporary art fair in Miami, from December 3 to 7, 2014.
Works by Komatsu and Restiffe are currently on view at the Bronx Museum in the exhibition Beyond the Supersquare until January 11, 2015. The exhibition features over 30 artists and examines the complicated legacies of Latin American and Caribbean Modernist architecture on contemporary art.
Proceeds from the sale of artworks at Untitled will benefit the Bronx Museum Permanent Collection. Established in 1986, the Permanent Collection has grown to include over 1,000 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, and video, guided by the mission to collect and preserve artworks by contemporary artists of African, Asian and Latin American descent as well as artists for whom the Bronx has been critical to their artistic practice and development.
