Teen Saturdays: Youth Making Media History
Saturday, May 23, 12:00pm to 3:00pm

Global Action Project invites young people to use our new interactive web application to author the history of the policing of youth of color and the legacy of youth activism and resistance. Participants will have the opportunity to add their own stories and media to the timeline as well as share their experiences and ideas about the impact of media and policing in our lives. Coming out of the workshop we'll have new skills and new ideas about how to analyze and use media in youth led movements for liberation from police violence and repression.

For teens and young adults, ages 14-22
Location: The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Media Lab
