Join us for the uplifting beat of Matuto, presented in collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concerts. Drawing on Brazilian folk forms like forró, maracatu, and coco, as well as American bluegrass, spirituals, and swampy Louisiana jams, Matuto’s unique and energetic sound celebrates diverse musical cultures. This event will also feature guided tours of the galleries from 6pm to 8pm, an art-making workshop for kids throughout the event, and a free live art performance by Project YEAH (Young Empowered Artists 4 Humanity) youth entitled "Live Art Mandala Madness"!
Location: Lower Gallery
