Gordon Matta-Clark: Anarchitect

Gordon Matta-Clark: Anarchitect will be on view at the Bronx Museum from November 8, 2017 – April 8, 2018. Matta-Clark’s legacy as a groundbreaking artist who challenged the established boundaries of art, architecture, film, performance, and sculpture has been well chronicled; however, his connection to the Bronx and New York City as an urban canvas along with his social, relational and activist-inspired approach in the 1970s, demand a fresh curatorial perspective, which the Bronx Museum is uniquely suited to provide.

The Director's Circle

The Director's Circle enjoys insider access to its renowned collections and exhibitions, and delve deeper into the arts, enjoying access to curators, contemporary artists, and collectors. The Director's Circle brings together individuals who share an appreciation for the visual arts and a personal commitment to the Bronx Museum.
