Co-Curator of Martin Wong: Human Instamatic Serigo Bessa will moderate a panel discussion looking back at the state of downtown New York's Lower East Side in the 1970s, a period which Wong immortalized in his work. The presentation will feature leading figures in architecture and design as they focus on major urban interventions that deeply affected the city, and the recovering of community memory through art and historical archives.
