Cuban artist Humberto Diaz joins the Bronx Museum as an artist-in-residence from September 10 – November 20, 2015. The residency is part of the cultural exchange initiative Wild Noise: Artwork from The Bronx Museum of the Arts and El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, organized with El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana, Cuba.

During his stay, Díaz will explore the Bronx environment and integrate into the borough’s culturally diverse community through participation in the Bronx Museum’s education and public programs. Artworks from El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes will be on view at the Bronx Museum in 2016, alongside a new installation by Diaz.
