Boogie on the Boulevard: Summer Sundays
Sunday, August 16, 2015, 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Get ready for Boogie on the Boulevard! On August 2nd, 9th, and 16th, the center lanes of the Grand Concourse from 161st Street to 167th Street will be closed to cars and open to a world of fun with free music, activities, and programs hosted by organizations from the Bronx and beyond, as well as local artists and performers.

At The Bronx Museum of the Arts:
- FREE Admission to the Museum and its galleries from 11am to 6pm 
- FREE Walking tour of the Grand Concourse with Bronx Bronx native Sam Goodman, an urban planner in the Office of the Bronx Borough President at 1:00pm

-Stop by the Bronx Museum's table on the Concourse during Boogie for an outdoor Family Affair!

FAMILIES! Don't miss The Gift to Empower’s annual School Drive at Boogie on the Boulevard starting at 12PM!

On the last Sunday of Boogie on the Boulevard, The Gift to Empower will be distributing school supplies collected during the 2015 back-to-school drive in preparation for the coming school year! Supplies will be distributed directly to children, providing them with the tools to succeed in the classroom.


Distribution begins at 12pm and continues on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out. Supplies are limited.


Please note:
-Children must be present with a parent/guardian to receive supplies.
-Parents/guardians are not eligible to receive supplies on behalf of an absent child.
-There is no pre-registration and supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
