If you are a “Bronxite” born and raised in the Bronx but haven’t returned in decades, the Bronx Museum of the Arts is welcoming you back to the borough with a series of special programs entitled Back in the Bronx. The series kicks off Saturday, October 19 from noon to 3pm and features actor Chazz Palminteri, who will be telling personal stories and anecdotes about growing up in the borough.
The program includes a nostalgic slideshow romp through the borough’s neighborhoods with Stephen Samtur, editor of the newsletter Back in the Bronx. Lunch will be provided for all attendees by David Greco’s Arthur Avenue Caterers, whose menu will feature Chazz Palminteri’s favorite eggplant parmesan (as seen on the Food Network) and “A Bronx Tale” sandwiches.
A free, round-trip bus shuttle bus will be provided from a midtown location (tbd), and parking garages are also conveniently located near the Museum.
Tickets are available for purchase at the door.
