Virtual Teen Art Exhibition OPEN CALL
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT Friday, May 14, 2021
Submit your artwork HERE. More details on submission requirements are below.
Since 2011, the Bronx Museum of the Arts' Teen Council has organized an exhibition of teen art at the Museum. This year, we're taking the exhibit online, and we invite teenage artists to submit artworks that reflect their visions for the future.

Over the past year, many dreams were lost and shattered due to the pandemic and hard circumstances in NYC. Time was paused and colorless, making us tend to envision Our Futures In Color.

We invite you to take a step away from your everyday lives in order to create. Remove yourself from our world of uncertainty and tension, and take the time to depict Our Futures In Color. Bring us into the world you’ve dreamed of while in quarantine, whether that be Broadway or an imagined utopia.

As the lights went out in the city of lights, NYC’s culture was challenged like never before. Now, the product of this time of forced growth has revealed itself to be as vibrant as ever, and we are interested in seeing how you interpret your place in our uncertain, but exciting, future.

• New York City-based teens ages 13-19 are eligible to submit works.
• Each person may submit up to 3 pieces.
• Include an image of your artwork, title, medium, and dimensions.
• Drawings, prints, photos, paintings, digital illustrations, mixed media, videos, and performance art all welcome. Please submit the highest quality version possible as the pieces will be displayed virtually.
